Kat Von D Beauty plus Blue and Purple Winged Eye

KvD Star Studded palette

This is a quick post to show how I achieved the above look. I had no idea what I was going to do when I started with this look but on reflection I was definitely inspired by Dominique and Stephanie who I follow on Instagram avidly.  I really love a lower winged liner that comes out almost horizontal.  I like that it totally changes my eye shape and I also find it easier to get matching on each side than a higher wing.

I thought today was a good day to post this look at Kat Von D Beauty has just gone live.  It's a site when Kat shares her makeup line along with fan looks using her products (use #kvdlook).  I've been excited about this since she first hinted at it online.

I used the Kat Von D Star Studded palette which  I managed to get on sale at Sephora for $28 (just under £18).
Because it's now sold out I'll recommend similar colours you could use instead.

A Guide to Primark Mascaras

The 5 Primark mascaras
As far as I am aware, Primark sell 5 mascaras (plus occasionally a waterproof version of the Volumising Ultra Black).  I wondered how they differed in brush and formula so thought I'd give them all a go.  It wasn't too frivolous seeing at they 5 came to a grand total of £9.50.

I must say that I'm probably not the best person so road-test mascaras as I do have naturally great eye lashes.  They are long and have no problem holding a curl, plus it's very rare that they ever transfer down on me after the initial application and clean up.

Also, I should have taken photos of the mascaras without eyeshadow etc on but that would mean removing my makeup at least twice in a day and I have sensitive eyes so didn't want to do that.  So, sorry but you have to see past the rest of the makeup.

Blue Lips

If Instagram ruled the world there would be blue lipstick everywhere!  While blue lips aren't exactly on trend in the real world, makeup fanatics are all over them at the moment.  Whether you want to create some cool (get it?) lip art or are brave enough to rock them out in public, here is my guide to blue lip products.  Why do I have so many?  I'm not really sure, but the last photo proves at least that they are all very different colours.

Depotting Illamasqua Eyeshadows into a Z Palette

I love my Illamasqua eyeshadows, Like really love.  I rarely use just a quad for a look though, I like to mix and match between the quads and monos and it can all get a bit cumbersome and finnickity and so I find I don't use them as much as I would like to.  Enter the Z Palatte (and all others like it of course).  It's a magnetic palette with a clear top which you can store your eyeshadows in.  You can buy pans at MAC, Inglot, Makeup Geek etc but for other shadows it's a case of digging out of the packaging, or 'depotting'.  I had read and watched many tutorials on how to do this but was still daunted.  I tried it a few months ago with not the best success but last night felt determined to try again.  Armed with slightly different tools, it was a breeze...almost.

Read on for how I did it and what my final Z Palette looks like.

My Favourite Makeup Geek Shadows

Clockwise from top left: Unexpected, Stealth, Burlesque and Rockstar
I am so in love with Makeup Geek shadows.  I had seen them all over YouTube and Instagram so had a pretty good idea of what colours I wanted.  You order the singles and then arrange them in a palette yourself.  I have mine in a large Z Palette. I made my first order about two months ago so have done lots of playing.  I bought enough colours to made for pretty much unlimited combinations so I haven't been straying from them much.  All of the different textures blend beautifully and there are some really unique colours.  I highly recommend the shadows in general and I can't wait to get more.  I thought a great way to introduce them would be to show off my four current favourites,  I've loved using these colours together as well as with the other shades

Benefit Vs Maybelline Gel Liner Pens

Maybelline Gel Liner pen
I was intrigued when I saw the Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner which is gel liner in a flexible nib.  It's quite expensive at £18.50 and I was pretty sure it was just a gimmick so wasn't willing to splurge.  Enter the Maybelline dupe, the Lasting Drama Black Shock Gel Liner (why all the long names?) which at £8.99 I was willing to try.

Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot blush set

So good my cat just demanded to be included.
The trouble I had getting this set! Okay, I exaggerate, it was only about half an hour of hurriedly walking around but at the time it seems like beauty life or death.  All the effort was for this, Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot which contains 6 of their powder blushes and 1 cream highlight.  As soon as I saw the first images of this online I was excited as I've only tried one of their blushes before.  I went to to get it as soon as it came out, at the end of September but it was already sold out in our Boots and Debenhams but I struck gold in House of Fraser.

Enough babble, see how good it is for yourself.

OCC Loose Colours swatches and look

OCC Loose Colours in Twirl, Obscure, Oberon and Wasabi
About two months ago I bought some OCC Loose Colours, mainly inspired by reviews by people who had bought some of them at IMATS this year.  I am completely obsessed with all things duo-chrome at the moment so three of my four picks have that quality.
I bought Twirl, Obscure, Oberon and Wasabi,  Read on to see close-ups,  swatches and a look using most of them.

5 Looks with the Cargo Vintage Escape Palette

As promised in my review of the Cargo Vintage Escape palette, here are 5 looks I've made using it.  I've put the photo of the palette above so you can see what I used where.

All the looks are of course quite neutral and while I would consider them all suitable for everyday maybe a few of these wouldn't be for you as I'm quite comfortable with more-is-more.

A lot of the shades are perfect as a wash of colour by themselves.

Cargo Vintage Escape Palette Swatches & Review

I heard about Cargo from Tati on YouTube and just assumed it was another US brand that we just couldn't get our hands on here in the UK.  One day, making my rounds of my local Debenhams beauty hall, I strayed a little further than usual and lo-and-behold found a small Cargo Cosmetics counter.  To my immense pleasure they stocked the Vintage Escape palette which Tati was raving about last autumn/winter.

The name combined with the colours make me think of my friend's b&b on the edge of Dartmoor where I quite often go this time of the year to get away.  The shades perfectly capture a walk through the countryside, with dying Autumnal leaves and a grumpy looking sky.

Mermaid Eyes

This is a look I did a few weeks ago inspired by Cora of Vintage or Tacky. I'm really into pastels, duo-chrome and shimmeriness at the moment so this mermaid-y look totally fits into all of that.
Read on for product details and a quick how-to.

New UK Maybelline Color Tattoos?

Maybelline Color Tattoo Vintage Plum, Creamy Beige

Since the Maybelline Color Tattoos first came out I have been jealous of America's selection of permanent and limited edition colours that just never make it over here.  I regularly check the Maybelline stand to see if there are any new shades and last week I struck lucky.  I found these two, Vintage Plum and Creamy Beige which were part of the 5-piece Leather Effect collection in America.

10 Dark Lip Colours for Autumn

I love this time of the year. While I tend to wear whatever makeup I want all year round, darker lips always do feel more appropriate at this time of the year. I wanted to show you 5 of my favourite lipsticks for Autumn/Fall but I couldn't narrow it down that far, oops.  So here you have 10 of my favourite.  There's a range of prices here and although they all fall into the berry family some are more pink, red or purple.

Real Techniques - Nic's Picks Set

Real Techniques Nic's Picks

I was supposed to be on a spending ban (self-imposed, again) for September but admittedly broke it for the Chapman sisters' latest offering to the beauty world.  The new Real Techniques set, Nic's Picks, is officially released on the 1st of October but some online retailers had it to sell early.  I got mine from Escentual.  I couldn't resist when I saw it was available early and was included in their sale.
(Don't worry mum/dad/husband, the spending ban has otherwise been maintained).

Halo Eyes with Step-By-step

Halo eye with Sugarpill
Halo eyes are quite a big trend at the moment, at least on Instagram.  It was only recently that I learnt the name for it. It's essentially having your darker shades in the inner and outer corners with your lighter colour in the middle.  It's a really interesting look and works really well with matte or shimmer, neutral or colour.  A word of warning; the darker colours you use, the more tired it can make you look.  It's also not particularly flattering if you have close-set eyes (like me! But I don't care).

I'm going to show you how I got the above look, as well as showing some alternative halo looks.

OCC Unknown Pleasures and Dune Collections

L-R Covet, Technopagan, Manhunter

My cold sore is finally gone and I am able to do lip swatches again, yay.  I'm really excited to be sharing my most recent Lip Tars with you.  Lip Tars are probably my favourite makeup product of all time and the two most recent collections have been full of really beautiful colours.  The latest collection, Unknown Pleasures has colours as awesome as its name (after a Joy Division album!) and is following autumn trends.  I'm also sharing what I've got from their summer collection, Dune, which are all Stained Gloss lip tars and are sci-fi influenced.

Illamasqua Once Collection

Illamasqua Once Collection
Last Friday Illamasqua released their Autumn collection: Once.  It features a fairly small selection of muted, ethereal shades that I think really enhance natural beauty and combines new products with a few re-promotes. The imagery for the collection is some of their best yet and features a very Marie Antoinette-looking woman wearing a modern twist of pastel blue Converse.

Whole Face with One Brand: Tarte

Using all Tarte products

Tarte is an echo-friendly brand with beautiful, natural shades and cute packaging.  They arrived in the UK not too long ago via QVC.  While I haven't purchased anything that way yet I was lucky enough to have an aunt bring me some Tarte products from the US at Christmas.  I don't have a large amount by the brand so thought it would be a fun challenge for my Whole Face with One Brand series.

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer

L-R Tranquillity, Halcyon, Aflush, Criminal, Funk, Kooky

I was planing on swatching the new OCC Lip Tars this week but, of course, a coldsore got the memo and came to say hello.  I still wanted to do a lip-central post so in true Blue Peter style, here's one I made earlier.

Matte lips are really in at the moment so MUA hit the nail on the head with their Luxe range of Velvet Lip Lacquers.  They come in 9 shades, from nude to deep purple.  I have 6 of them to show you.

High Impact Makeup in a Hurry

Sometimes life gets a bit hectic and I have less time than usual to do my makeup.  That doesn't mean that I want to do the usual 5 or 10 minute face though.  If I'm not in work then I definitely want to do something colourful and fun.  In these instances I tend to turn to either eye liner or eyebrows to make the impact.  I don't have time for lots of shading or getting the perfect outline with a bold lip colour.  This was particularly true of last week when I was away sleeping in a field and didn't have a whole lot of brushes with me.

The following looks don't use many products and are all quick, especially if you're a dab hand at liquid eye liner.

Pop of Chartruese

I thought I would share a look I've really been enjoying lately.  It's a simple, light grey/taupe eye with a pop of colour on the inner corner; in this case chartreuse.

Orange Lipsticks

L-R: Infrared, Bang, Bang! Bang!
Generally I'm not one to change my clothes or my face with the seasons very much (dark smokey eyes in August? Yes!) but summer really is the perfect time to be wearing an orange lip colour.  Orange has been quite 'in' over the last year or so and I feel like there are definitely more oranges on the market.

Whole Face Challenge with Illamasqua

Like with the last challenge, here, choosing Illamasqua was never going to be very difficult for me as they are one of my favourites and I have a lot by them. I knew what I wanted to do a bit more this time so didn't sit down completely aimless.  I knew I wanted to be uber pale, have red eye shadow and use some of my newer products.

Making Rubanesque Work

MAC Rubanesque Pro Longwear Paint Pot
I have been in love with MAC's  Rubanesque Paint Pot for years, swatching it on my hand almost every time I went in store and no doubt annoying all of the employees.  It is a beautiful shimmery peachy gold which changes with the light.  I knew I would love it but I just put off buying it every time...until April.  I got it home, so excited to try it for the first time but boy was I disappointed.  While the pigmentation was okay and it was definitely still pretty it was quite lack-lustre.  It did not look how it does in the jar.
And so began the mission to make it look amazing!

Illamasqua's Glamore Lipsticks

Glamore lipsticks

A few months ago Illamasqua launched a new lipstick formula with the Glamore campaign.  There were 3 shades in the initial launch but the formula was so popular; opaque and creamy; that everyone called out for more choice.  Illamasqua listened and earlier this month launched 4 more shades, and then another 7 nude shades this week.  The Nude shades are split up depending on skin tone, with 2 cool-toned, 2 neutral and 3 warm-toned.

Whole Face with One Brand: Urban Decay

So I've been wanting to start this challenge for a while, and that is to do my full face with only one brand, with as many brands as possible.  I picked an easy one for the first go; Urban Decay.  I had pretty much everything I could have needed, except for a concealer.  I'll probably only do these on a Saturday as it takes a while to root around and find everything.  This particular Saturday was very hectic and I charged head-first into my bundle of products with no real idea of what I was going to do.  I'm not particularly pleased with how it turned out but as I thought that morning, it'll do!  These photos are taken after 8 hours wear.

London IMATS 2014

On the 28th June a friend and I went to London IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) at Olympia.  This was my second time to IMATS and I loved every second of it.  We had a 2am start for the 4am coach up from Cardiff.  Last year I was concentrating on buying for my bridal kit but this year, with a few exceptions, it was all for me.  While I like seeing all of the different stalls and trying new brands there, I mainly seek to buy things I already like but at show prices.

A New Superdrug for Cardiff

This is just a quick, picture-less post to say that a new Superdrug has opened up in St Davids 2 in Cardiff.   It is on the ground floor, just down from the Disney Store.
It opened yesterday and I was very excited to dash straight there after work yesterday afternoon.  Not only does it look a lot more sophisticated than the old store but it also boasts some new things.  There is the Ultimate Brow and Nail Bar (currently offering intro deals up to half off) and at the back of the store there is Hair Space which offer cuts and colour.  A few of the budget brands are missing from this Superdrug but, as far as I'm aware, the Queen St store is staying open so will be there for when I'm feeling the pinch.  I did see two new brands in the new store though.  Makeup Revolution products have been available on the Superdrug website for a while but this was my first time seeing them with their own display in store. The most exciting thing about the whole store though is that the sell The Balm! I've been drooling over The Balm for years but previously the only products of theirs I had tried was their Instain Blush in Swiss Dot (which I love) and Cabana Boy blush.  To be able to swatch the infamous Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter in person was so exciting.  They  also have the apple cream blush palette which I've been very eager to get.  I managed to restrain myself but only because it was IMATS last Saturday and I have so many new things to play with for the time being.
I highly reccomend you visit the new Superdrug.  It not only looks really good but has a wide range of brands and, unlike with the old store, everything is in the right place and is really well stocked.

Giorgio Armani Blogger Event

I was kindly invited to a beauty bloggers event at the Giorgio Armani counter in the Cardiff Debenhams this past Thursday.  Having never tried any of their makeup before (I'm usually too scared to even look at the posh-looking counters) I thought it would be an excellent way to to be introduced.

Topshop Chameleon Glow Eyeshadows: Review and Looks

Despite having a few very good make up items from Topshop, I always seem to forget about their range.  Every now and again I wander in and discover something new and amazing.  Like this week.  I am such a fan of finding things that are unlike anything else I have in my collection.  The Chameleon Glows are such a product.  Part of Topshop's Festival collection, they are powders than can be used anywhere to create a "multi-dimensional, iridescent finish".  Basically they are beautiful duo-chrome eyeshadows (I think they're a bit too chunky to be used anywhere else).  Of course I couldn't choose between them and got all three.

My Top Lip Tars

I have been planning to do a Lip Tar post for ages and I thought now was a great time as there will be an OCC booth at London IMATS this coming Saturday.

Lip Tars are a liquid lipstick made by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics.  Unlike most liquid formulas they do not set and so feel more comfortable on.  They come in three types; Matte, Metallic and Stained Gloss. I mainly own Matte ones and while they have no shimmer, I wouldn't say they're matte as they have some shine to them. They have a slight peppermint smell and tingle.  Lip Tars are great for mixing, the formulas blend together perfectly and you can create a limitless amount of shades.  They are my favourite lip product by far.

It was so hard to pick out just five favourites.  I ended up going for ones that I find easiest to wear and go with a lot of looks.

Colourful Cut Crease with Sugarpill

On Saturdays I like to be a bit more colourful that usual as I'm not in work, yay. This is a recent look, which I've called a cut crease for lack of anything else to call it.
I wish I had taken step-by-step photos for this look but I was not planning on making a post about it.  I didn't know just how well it would turn out!  I based it on a look I saw on Instagram that I really did not think I would be able to recreate successfully (unfortunately cannot find the original but if I do I will edit this).  I love the look and thought it would be pretty awesome to give a thumbs up to Sugarpill as they'll have a booth at this year's London IMATS, YES!
...It is so annoying when I don't realise there was a mascara smudge until I see the photos!

5 Looks with the Naked 3

I've heard some friends say that they loved the look of Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette but that they weren't sure how to use it.  I have been loving it for a few months now so I have devoted the last week to the palette, coming up with looks for this post.

I think it's an easy palette to use.  Strange is the perfect highlighting colour for under the brow and around the tear duct.  It's hard to go wrong if you stick to the general idea of lighter colour over the lid, darker colour in the outer V and blended out with a mid-tone into the crease.  That's been the base for most of these looks.

For all of these looks I used either Urban Decay Primer Potion, original formula, or MAC's Paints in Sublime Nature.  I used Too Faced's Better Than mascara in most, if not all, of the looks.  My brows throughout are filled with Illamasqua Brow Cake in Thunder.  The double-ended brush that comes with the Naked 3 is quite good but I feel like you need a good blending brush and maybe a little smudger/pencil brush too.

Transformation Tuesday. Warning: Picture Heavy!

So I thought I would use the Instagram #transformationtuesday and go a bit crazy.  I've sifted through a ridiculous number of photos from the last 12 years or so and picked out ones that show how my makeup has changed over the years.  Unfortunately I wore the same look every day for most of those years, as you will see for yourself.

I saw a blog post in the last week where the writer said that Davey Havok was her high school inspiration, so definitely true for me.  I fell in love with all things AFI when I was about 13/14 and loved DxH so much that I made (and still have) a folder in which are about 1000 printed out pictures of him...in rough chronological order.  Sigh. Black was the colour.  Oh yes.  Black everywhere.  Let the pictures begin.
No face.  Black nail varnish. Yes. Age 13

Shopping My Stash

May was a spending ban month for me. Ugh, torture, especially when certain websites have big sales on things I want (yes, I'm looking at you love-makeup.co.uk and feelunique.com) and Boots have their 3 for 2 offer on.  Despite that, I managed to stick to the ban and bought no make up.
One of the ways I survive a ban month (I also did it this February) is to shop my stash.  This is when you go through all of your drawers to see what you've forgotten about and not used for ages. I thought I'd show you what I endeavoured to use throughout May.

Concrete Minerals Sugar Skull Collection

Concrete Minerals Sugar Skull collection

I'm so excited to finally write this post.  I've had these pigments for about 5 weeks so I have had a good play with them.  Concrete Minerals have been popping up in lots of the Youtube videos I watch for quite a while so they were on my radar but last month I had a few extra pounds so made the splurge.  They have a few collections but the colours in the Sugar Skull collection stood out to me the most.

First off, the packaging! Look how cool the tin is.  I love the whole Day of the Dead thing and I think it's really pretty (it it can almost be recreated using the colours inside).  The colours themselves come in standard plastic jar with a sifter to stop things getting too messy.

My Dream Product

So unfortunately this is not about a favourite product of mine but about a product I wish existed.

I really struggle in the heat, being really pale and burning easily.  My makeup really suffers too as I am oily at the best of times.  What I wish existed is a good setting spray that keeps me matte all day AND that includes SPF 30 or higher.  That would be seriously amazing as the consistency of most sun cream products only exacerbates my oily skin.  Is it too much to ask for?

Are there any makeup products that you feel to not exist yet? And if I have some how slept through the invention of my dream product please do let me know!

My Favourite Spring Pastels

Illamasqua Tremble, Sleek Sweet Cheeks,  Max Factor Soft Pink

Spring is here, or almost anyway.  Our Bank Holiday was lovely and sunny and I may have ventured on a picnic, shame about the week of rainy showers since.  I'm a bit of a sun-scared weirdo who largely wears the same clothes all year round but when the sun comes out I do tend to change my makeup to suit.  Think floral mermaid unicorn and you should have the right colours in mind. Here are the products I like for cheeks/eyes/lips this time of the year.

Magnificent Copper Review

If you saw my Revolution haul you would have seen their Awesome Metals in Magnificent Copper (£4/5).  Immediately I wondered if it was a bargain dupe for Stila's Magnificent Metals (£33.50), which I am yet to try.  In both cases you have a cream eye shadow that you transform with a liquid primer in the provided tray to make the colour super metallic and shiny.

Illamasqua Summer Collection

Forbidden, Surrender and Flirtacious
I always get so excited as soon as I see the promo pictures for a new Illamasqua launch and with the summer collection it was no exception.  The collection features gorgeous pastel products in matte formulas; right up my street! As soon as the email came though on my phone to say it had launched I got myself to the local counter.

Everyday ELF

Just a short one today on my must-haves from ELF.  I have combination/oily skin so these Shine Eraser blotting sheets are invaluable to me.  After about 5 hours with most foundations I use one or two of these and then touch up with MAC's Studio Fix powder. £1.95 for 50 sheets.  I love glitter but I do not like washing glitter out of my brushes. Welcome Glitter Eyeshadow Applicator! Loose glitter sticks to the silicone tip like a dream and then I just press it on (usually over Fyrinae's Pixie Epoxy). It has made glittery looks so much easier for me, with less to clean up on my face and on my desk! They cost £3.95.
Two top brushes I use all the time, both £3.95  Their Blush Brush is soft and not too big.  I like it paired with a bright blush as I can control exactly where it goes. The Small Smudge Brush is great for precision pops of colour on the eyes but I also like it for applying lipstick. Last but not least is their Makeup Lock & Seal.  This can be used for turning powder eyeshadows into eyeliner but what I really like this for is for mixing with metallic shadows to boost their shininess, especially dabbed just in the middle of the lid to catch the light with every blink.  It works wonders on slightly powdery, glittery shadows like Urban Decay's Dust and Trick in the Naked 3 palette.

ELF is a great brand to turn to for basics such as these.  Their brushes can be a bit hit or miss but, when most of them cost less than £4, the hits really are worth it! I highly suggest checking them out, especially if you live in Cardiff. In the Royal Arcade is Europe's first ELF store.  So many things to swatch there and great customer service.

Budget Brand! Revolution Haul

L-R Acid Brights and Matte Brights
When I heard about Revolution, a new brand being sold by Superdrug with prices comparable to MUA's, I wanted to try their products right away.  There is no counter in my local Superdrug (yet) so I ordered on their website and they delivered to the store in 3 days.

Good Friday Urban Decay Masterclass

Yesterday I went to Urban Decay's latest masterclass to show off the Electric palette, which I was already head over heels in love with. It was my first time at an event like this so I wasn't really sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. Organised by the ladies at the counter in Cardiff Debenhams, it was in a room within the local Tiger Tiger club which led to a really relaxed atmosphere.  When I got there I was given a really great mocktail and in each place there was a really good sized sample of their original Primer Potion, a fragrance sample and photocopies of facecharts showing the 3 looks that would be demonstrated. There were a few minutes to chat with the other girls before it started.

Zoya Nail Polish Remover [Bottle] Dupe

A few months ago I was seeing the Zoya Remove nail polish remover (available here for £9.50) on quite a few blogs.  Although a good formula, most of the hype was over the bottle.  To prevent spills you just hold your cotton pad over the pump, press down, and the pad is saturated. Although my interest was more than piqued I decided not to splash out just for a nail polish remover.

I am so glad I help out as today, quite by chance, I found a much cheaper version.

Making Things Work

Don't be dismayed if you've bought make up which hasn't quite suited you.  If like me you can't bare throwing it out you may be able to make it work for you without buying anything else.  Quite often if make up is the wrong colour or tone you might already have just the thing to transform it.

L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint

I've had this foundation for quite a while now as I snapped it up almost as soon as it came out.  In reviews it was being compared to Georgio Armani Maestro foundation, and seeing as I can definitely not afford that one I thought this one would be good to try.

Back in the Day with Urban Decay

For my first proper post I wanted to do something a bit special and close to my heart.
Urban Decay were the cause of my love affair with makeup.  Until I met their products I only ever wore black eyeliner and black eyeshadow that I applied with a foam applicator.  10 years ago all of that changed when I saw their colourful display in Boots.  Ahhhh I fondly remember there frequently being a 3 for 2 offer on their counter.  Those really were the days.
Seeing as their new Electric palette (officially due out tomorrow although I may already have it) is harking back to their vibrant roots I thought it would be fun to look at some of the first items I bought from the brand.

Makeup Manifesto

I'm naturally drawn to bright colours and interesting designs when it comes to makeup. At work I can't be too adventurous so I'm also good friends with neutral looks.
Most of my spare change after bills goes on makeup , most of my bedroom space is occupied by makeup and I follow sooo many  makeup-y Instagram people to get inspired every day.
I spend hours every week watching Youtube videos and reading blogs and wanted to join in.  I'll be posting swatches, reviews and looks but I talk about others things too.  Films might crop up a bit, I watch a lot.
