OCC Lip Tar Swatches - Reds

OCC Liptar Swatches Reds

OCC's Lip Tars are one of my favourite lip products ever.  They are incredibly versatile and they have SO many shades.  They really have a red/nude/pink to suit everyone, and if you can't find what you want?  Mix it.  Lip Tars are great for MUAs as you can create any custom colour you want, and they're super hygienic.  A little goes a really long way; one of the full-size ones will last you forever, unless you body paint with it or something.

As I have an awful lot of Lip Tars I thought it might be helpful to swatch them in colour groups to help anyone looking to buy some.  I really support the brand too, so hope to get a few people curious about them!

This post ties into the YouTube video I just made in which I show the various OCC Lip Tars on my lips.

OCC Creme Colour Concentrate in Discipline

OCC Creme Colour Concentrate in Discipline

Meet Discipline, a Creme Colour Concentrate by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (CCC and OCC respectively from now on).  It's a multi-tasking product, with most of the shades in the range being suitable for use on eyes, lips or cheeks.  This particular colour is described as 'bruised bronze' on the OCC site.  I would say it is a pearlised warm brown.

This product was an informed buy rather than the usual spontaneous purchase.  It came very highly recommended by Phee of Phee's makeup Tips.  I always find her makeup looks inspiring but so many of her eye looks I liked turned out to be using this product.

OCC Unknown Pleasures and Dune Collections

L-R Covet, Technopagan, Manhunter

My cold sore is finally gone and I am able to do lip swatches again, yay.  I'm really excited to be sharing my most recent Lip Tars with you.  Lip Tars are probably my favourite makeup product of all time and the two most recent collections have been full of really beautiful colours.  The latest collection, Unknown Pleasures has colours as awesome as its name (after a Joy Division album!) and is following autumn trends.  I'm also sharing what I've got from their summer collection, Dune, which are all Stained Gloss lip tars and are sci-fi influenced.
